Our shanks up here are at about $10.00 a pound. The lamb ribs, either cut into lollipop chops or a roast....$30 a pound. If we didn’t have a bunch of shanks and chops out in the pastures, we’d sure as heck not be eating lamb! And I love lamb, except Australian lamb. It is truly horrible. If I hear someone say they tried lamb once and thought it was awful, I assume they got some Australian lamb.
