Matt Taibbi’s been around a while. He made a name for himself about a dozen years ago with a Rolling Stone article where he infamously described Goldman Sachs as “a vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity.”
He’s a lefty for sure which makes him entirely appropriate for his current role in the Twitter Files.

Yeah, I remember Taibbi’s Rolling Stone stuff. I seem to recall that post 9/11 he tried to morph into some sort of neocon and FReepers were believing him until he did a 180 to fawn over Barak Obama. He’s a full-on Obama Butt-Boy.
