The most ingenious part of such projects was to get that much cooperation from the people who did the actual work.
Watch later.
It’s in Chat.
LOL! Atacama Giant would also be a great band name! ;-)
I saw this when it was broadcast on NOVA. I thought it was rather disappointing that the “It’s aliens” guy wasn’t in it.
Nah, but all kidding aside, it was pretty boring compared to other documentary shows I’ve seen about the site.
or, The Dessicated Peruvians...
Great show, thanks! Intentional burying of certain sites seems to be a worldwide ‘thing’. Broken pottery, especially as part of funeral rites, shows up in a lot of cultures, too.
I was confused over the repeat floods, tho - is that why there were glyphs on hillsides? How did the adobe and so many geoglyphs on the plains survive them?
Interesting. I did a search to see the glyph and all the photos oriented in such a way they look like hands (sort of). Turn the pictures over and they look like antlers (sort of). To me, they look more like antlers than hands. FWIW.
Where is the infamous History Channel guy.. saying Aliens...
They are the result of the Incas criminal prisons. Like we have highway right-of-ways cleared by prisoners. The park across from my home sidewalks were built by prisoners.
These probably were as well..................
It was illegal aliens..................................

Agreed. We are ingenious when we apply ourselves. Iām surprised by our accomplishments every day and shake my head at how quickly it could all be thrown away forever.
We indeed stand on the shoulders of giants. We see new archaeological discoveries every year and wonder at what was lost. Now we are throwing it all away again.
