The new rules at Twitter require you to include “PARODY” if it’s parody so people know.
I never flag my satire as parody or use the sarcasm off/on thing. If people take it seriously I consider it self-identification that they either don’t get parody or are just too dumb to understand. Either way, it’s good info to have. ;-)
Agreed, particularly on FR. But out of courtesy, I sometimes tag sarcasm in my posts here. I fully recognize that like the general public, 50% of FR members have below average IQ’s.
Too many people, probably the great majority on the Left, cannot understand satire or anything approaching humor at all.
When I post something satirical I do NOT mark it.
