Death is not the end, nor is it just a new beginning. It is more of a semester break in the learning experiences necessary for the soul to grow.
Transcendence is graduation. Death of the physical body is not necessary for transcendence.
We are souls having a human learning experience.
That’s not my understanding of our creation and place in the universe.
There is another reason I believe why we would not be allowed to develop that consciousness that you think we are lacking. It’s because, if we were to develop into a type I civilization, we functionally become immortal as a society and impossible to destroy.
I think God has put limits on us.
Years ago that merged with my understanding of the way things work. Now it is so very obvious that such is the case.
