Sad...I grew up there and it was nothing like it seems to be today. Good fishing and hunting, lots of sunshine. Went back a few years ago for a high school reunion and was amazed and saddened at the homeless people, the obvious druggies on the streets. Not my world anymore...

to pay its ‘ employees’ .
Non profit just means the corporation isn’t listed on stock exchange or sell shares )

and making political hay.

At least that’s the way it was in the 80s when my family had a non profit Corporation under which we ran 3 business .

Political or financial there are profits even they are called by a different name.
