Never said the OT was carried to Japan or other places. When the people were scattered by God (Gen 11:1-9) they carried the account of what happened with them. Same with the flood.
. And the Bible is free from any moral error.
While it is not a science or history book it is accurate in those areas. The purpose of Scripture is to point us to God and ultimately to faith in Christ, and only Christ, for salvation.
Persuasive, compelling findings from paleohistory and archaeology and other branches of science refute the Bible's account of human origins and of the diffusion of humans and human culture. Yet what is not
literally true in the Biblical account if taken as history and science is nevertheless true in the moral sense, that mankind is a single species, or in traditional terms, a single extended family scattered and divided by circumstances, by the hardness of life, and by human folly and wickedness.
Moreover, rejecting the Bible because it does not meet modern standards of science and history is absurd. Calling the Bible unscientific and ahistorical is not so much a criticism as a simple observation that it was composed before science and history were even developed. And, as we both agree, the Bible's purpose is moral instruction.
