So, how do they know the length of Noah’s forearm? Remember, the article said that was exactly 300 cubits long. I don’t recall any correlation between Noah’s forearm and any other form of known measure.

Moses would have known. He was the one writing the account. He grew up in Egypt and would have known all about the length of a cubit. And, God filled in the details.

Cubit was based roughly on the length of a person’s forearm. But this varied from place to place, with the Ancient Egyptian measure giving rise to the use of the meter as the basic measurement.

Oh, good point there. I’ve seen estimates of the cubit between 18 and 21 inches.
