Reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley have been sentenced to 12 years and seven years in prison respectively months after they were found guilty in their tax evasion case.
The couple, best known for 'Chrisley Knows Best' on USA, was sentenced Monday by an Atlanta judge to a combined total of 19 years in prison, less than two days after one of their sons was seriously injured in a car crash in Nashville.
Todd, 53, and Julie, 49, will also serve 16 months of probation each upon their release, according to WBS-TV.
The news comes five months after the Chrisleys were found guilty on criminal bank fraud and tax evasion charges, as prosecutors said they took out $30 million in fraudulent bank loans.
Prosecutors alleged the couple used the money to fund their lifestyle, even before they had become reality stars.
Todd and Julia also used a production company to hide income from the IRS, lawyers argued.
Before Monday's sentencing, officials had stated that Todd was facing up to 22 years while Julie could have served up to 13.

Kharma moves at light speed. You’ll never see or hear it coming.
Triple H is married to Stephanie McMahon, Vince’s daughter.
Nice. Married tha boss's daughter, good move.
Yep. She’s CEO now and he’s Creative Content Director.
Vince stepped down. Supposedly he had a pants zipped issue.
It’s weird because he’s married with kids, but seems flaming to me.
He definitely has an ethical problem.
Sad to see the devastating consequences of having a brief period of “fame”. So many reality show “stars” wind up in deep doo-doo. Two of the reality shows revolving around guns ended with their main stars in prison. The dude in Louisiana was really creepy as he turned out to be a sex-perv. The show based in Colorado was a major fraudster and I think tax cheat also. They seemed to have everything going for them, but it was never enough apparently. Sorry I don’t remember either of the names.
Don't leave out Honey Boo Boo!
Step 1: get success.
Step 2: get power.
Step 3: use power to get more power.
Step 4: use all that power to build yourself an alternate reality bubble.
Step 5: convince yourself that your reality bubble is a real thing.
Step 6: start grabbing chicks, anything that moves.
30 million? What was the jail term for the banker(s) that made the loans? Not a problem?
Step 5.5 - Do a large amount of steroids
LMAO Good
Tell me about Simmons ?
“Dude pegged my GADAR the first time I flipped past his show”
Seemed about as straight as Versace to me.
I would never buy clothes from him, unlike George Zimmer
Wow...that’s a long time in jail for tax evasion. Child molesters only get 3 years typically. I think thier real crime was not giving any of that money to politicians.
I think Gene’s issues worked out for the best. I was mostly recalling Shannon walking out on him maybe 10 years ago but they did finally get married and seem to be doing well, yet it caused some delays in production at the time and some friction with the kids.
Gays don’t do well in the general population.
That’s what I was thinking. Thought they’d get a couple years.
I don’t tolerate much “new” entertainment, but I saw about 10-15 episodes of this show, and it was kind of cute and funny. Wholesome, if a little shallow. I feel bad for them.
I think he might be ok with that.
Elizabth Holmes didn’t get a whole lot of mercy at her sentence for getting herself knocked up. And now these folks can’t get any milage out of an injured son.
Did they default on the loans?
