The Gators would have taken this guy along with the more highly ranked QB.
The head coach, Athletic Department and University had no choice but to pull the scholarship offer, it’s unfortunate, it’s the political time we live, allowing him to be on the team with a scholarship would have created all kinds of negative press for a player that is talented in HS but could be a total bust in the SEC.
The head coach is simply not going to risk creating a major distraction over 1 player that’s unproven.
