The irony in all this is that the world population will likely drop by more than 2 billion people in the next 40 years without anyone doing anything. It is already baked into the demographics.
The big losers in terms of population will be China, Russia, all of Europe less France, South Korea, and Taiwan. To a much smaller degree there are the United States, Mexico, France, Japan, and India.
If you think inflation is bad, wait till you see what deflation does to an economy.
