The less official definition of prophet is more of a person that serves as a guru, an expert, one that we might follow with some enthusiasm.
I wonder now, is it one person or several? Prophet in the more biblical sense or otherwise?

I think Q is disturbed that some of his/their fans have drifted, often subconsciously, into thinking Q has some sort of superhuman powers. (Plus, of course, there are the frauds who routinely violate the "No outside comms" rule, generally for profit.)
I have pointed this (tacitly assumed Q omniscience) out many times as an error. Q can make mistakes as well as anybody else, even with the aid of Q-level clearances. (NOTE: Intelligence assessments are not always correct.)
For example, Trump and Q obviously thought the 2020 election was going to end differently; but, the invisible enemy had more tricks up their sleeve.
This does not mean the PLAN is invalid. All plans for complex operations make adjustments as they go along. Hopefully nothing is too great a surprise.
