I have no idea how he can 'walk that back' when he sobers up. No normal person would mistakenly affirm they are 'minor attracted' (pervert).
I don't think he could try to make his repulsive admission go away by later saying something like, "Oh I didn't mean it. I only claim to be minor attracted when I'm drunk....." No. Just no. These people will be afraid to walk down the street - constituents were already confronting him angrily BEFORE he admitted to having a perverted mind.
