Diagraming sentences taught us a lot of logic, didn’t understand at the time.

I remember my grade schoolteacher Mrs. Vlotho. Every time I handed in my work she would ask if I double checked it. I would say no and go back to my desk and check it. I got so tired of that I began to check my work. Still do for the most part.

In college I was required to take a course on lexical and conceptual semantics—pro-level sentence diagramming. It was the hardest class I’ve ever taken outside of anything involving math.

But word salad isn’t too hard to recognize.
