Merry Christmas!
Santa was having a rough start to the season.
The elves had popped open somebody’s Wild Turkey Christmas gift bottle, and were tearing up the place.
The reindeer were in rut, and were fighting with one another, knocking over tables, scattering toys and wrapping paper all over.
Mrs. Santa Claus had burned several batches of Christmas cookies, and smoke was pouring out of the kitchen.
Suddenly an angel came through the door,
dragging a huge Christmas Tree,
and yells at Santa over the noise of the drunken elves,
and all the chaos of the fighting reindeer,
“Where shall I put this tree?”
And thus began the tradition of
the Angel atop the Christmas Tree.
Stop that. It hurts when I laugh!
