A very good automobile mechanic fixes the engine, but he doesn’t machine the head or fixes the transmission. He knows who he trusts to do those things that he either doesn’t know how to or doesn’t have the machines to accomplish the job.
I doubt that the very best fighter jet pilot knows why the engineer designed the engine fan to do what it does and I, also doubt that the same engineer would fly the same aircraft as ably.
However, (as Melian said) “Due diligence” is a part of the game.
Not quite sure the meaning of your comment but I don’t expect doctors to make the meds. I do however expect they understand them. When the first tragic side effects occurred I would expect any caring doctor to research the jabs before pushing them on patients. So many doctors are still lacking in information about the jabs and apparently not seeking answers. As a retired RN with 41 years in healthcare I am sickened.
