Mostly Rock-n-Roll/Blues but some Christian Rock and Country too
The closest thing to Funk and Zydeco would be D'Yer Mak'er / some Nevil Bros SpyderWeb
Made the leap to five string but then I pretty much
stopped playing live so never went back to the four.
Well except for a brief impromptu appearance on stage
at my Daughter's wedding for Johnny B Goode
I was among the guests that were surprised that
I (still) could play
It made my wife and kids very happy
One day maybe I'll find myself back in the mood but these are different times :/

Music is a great uplifter. I play daily and some fingers are getting weird (long story) and if I can’t play my guitar I won’t want to live any more...
Great. The 5-string is big in Zydeco. Give a listen to some Beau Joque, the bass player is a wild man. It may inspire you.
