Enough with this Chevy talk! It was the Galaxy, Fairlane, Falcon, and the coveted Country Squire station wagon that ruled the roads in our family.
Of course, the guy across the street always had Chevy products. And there was a Dodge family down the street as well. And one VW guy - he had a little header exhaust on it, and we used to call it the “fah’rt wagon”. The entire neighborhood heard him leave for work at 7:30 every morning.

I agree one should be able to have their opinion and to express it. Your comments that imply others on the thread are not doing enough may be less offensive if you indicated that was actually your opinion or fear not backed by fact because you can’t know what we are doing in our personal lives.
You provide a good deal of information on the thread which I appreciate and I have no issue with you opinions when stated as your opinion.

Yeah, my neighborhood always heard my Harley start. But I tried to be polite-—most of the time. And they still hear my Jimmy big blocks. One can only be so polite.
It's interesting - I've been following, from a distance, a couple of eagles in Avon Lake, Ohio. They're nested in a large oak tree behind an elementary school. There are 3 cameras set up at the nest, and there is a great following in that area. People set up lawn chairs in the parking lot to watch the eagles, but they also take care to stay 100 feet back from the tree.
It's been cool to watch the life cycle - eggs every spring, 2-3 eaglets hatch, generally, they grow, sibling rivalry, then they're taught to live on their own, and by fall, they've been basically booted out of the nest. This has been going on for 5 or 6 years that I know of.
The adult eagles are named Stars and Stripes, and each year, the school kids name the offspring. Such a great education opportunity for this semi-rural suburban community.
Well-shared, and that comment really appears to be the bottom line.
That gesture without the photoshopped finger is genuine. Saw it many times growing up in Chicago, many Italians use it. It means “up yours”.
