Cramer is a smart guy. Unintelligent people don’t get to run hedge funds at Goldman Sachs. The problem is that finance and stocks are kind of boring to the average person. A good stock picker might have one or two really good ideas every year. Cramer’s problem is that he has to say something profound every night. Since there isn’t something profound going on every day, he just spews crap to sell air time and to keep the viewers tuned in.
If Cramer was so good at running a hedge fund, then why did he quit? There must have been more money in that than TV, right?
