Shows used to sell out all the time in the 80’s.

It was part of the allure of bands like The Who and The Stones.

If you didn’t get tickets..,you moved on.

Not sure what the issue is here.

I am not sure what the face value of these tickets, but I am going to assume they are being marked up 5X face value.
This is what drives the demand. People willing to pay $1000s of dollars to make their little girl happy.

You and I would not have paid $100 to see The Who, The Stones or even the Beatles. I saw The Who twice. I never paid more than $25. Even in 2022 dollars, that is only $150 ish.

Ticketmaster crashes trying to sell Taylor Swift tickets.

How the hell does that happen? It's not like Swift is the first artist to go on stadium tours.

Why does nothing work right anymore?
