Gee whiz! $25 a pound and you have no idea what kind of bean it is. Another red flag is the selection of roasts for the same coffee. That means Juan Valdez Columbian most likely. If I’m paying $25/lb is better be some high grown Hawaiian Thunder Mountain. I get organic Mexican Chiapas for $9.99/lb roasted locally. Starbucks coffee is cheaper by the pound and there are some roasts that are top notch.

While the coffee I drink might not be the finest in the world; I can brew a large cup from my Keurig machine for under 30c. Bulk kirkland.

That’s why they push the promo codes. Those bring the price back to earth a bit.

Still, I get big bags of whole bean locally and grind as needed. My-coffee can’t beat that.
