Yep and without the patient’s approval or in most cases knowledge. Plus if the patient has dementia they are not legally allowed to vote.

A perfect example IIRC were cases from 2020 in Wisconsin, where Ascension Healthcare has a big footprint, elderly patients who didn’t even recognize their family and had to be helped to do basic daily living had voted according to voting records. There were children of these patients going public with it and then it quietly faded into the shadows.
