Pence was a US Congressman for 13 yrs and Indiana governor for 4. So he didn’t come out of nowhere to show up on the Trump slate. I think that was the same Pence all along.
Yes. Falls in with his curious level of ambition for being one local yokel who is a threat to no one. Least of all, the pack of RINO’s in DC. I just can’t get there for Pence. A forced pick by the McConnell Mafia.
As for Marc Short, he was reportedly the runner for the Senate side of trouble to Trump, serving as Pence’s chief of staff. So that expressionless Pence could project personal piety, and stare at POTUS.
