Well before 9/11 I had a front row seat during the Cuban invasion, also during the Cuban blockade and then spent 32 years working on defense programs for the US Military. What where you doing then?
USAF on the DEW line in Alaska eyeballing the Russians across the Bering Strait and telling SAC and TAC what we saw. My CIC was a man named Ike and there were 48 stars in the national flag. I was merely asking if you remember 9/11. You must have a difficult life with such a thin skin.
I shouldn’t have conveyed the notion I was asleep on 9/11. I came out of retirement in 2005 to help the troops in Iraq by helping develop a system to neutralize IEDs. I do appreciate you service in Alaska to help defend our country .
No harm done. I worked and lived in Saudi for 15 years and then 6 years in Yemen in the fossil fuel industry. The desert is a place I am familiar with.
