The counter to this perspective is that fewer people voted in Florida this election cycle than in 2020. And DeSantis had a higher percentage this year than Trump did in 2020.
DeSantis also didn’t have a real race if you’re being honest. The fact that DeSantis caused fewer people to vote is now a selling point? This is his number with the national, media GOPe and even the Democrats are cheerleading for him so he can take out Trump. What would his number be after he spends a year bashing Trump in order to get the nomination and THEN the media starts digging up dirt? Not very impressive if you ask me.
