I agree DeSantis is not Trump’s enemy, this is petty and will wear thin with Republicans.
If DeSantis decides to run, he may not have to do anything, Trump seems to be trying to kill himself.

No way. That’s what makes him. Firstly, if he didn’t say it you’d never know. You just keep hearing DeSantis is the new party leader. 1.1m less than Trump 2 years ago. DeSantis’ number couldn’t beat Biden. A little perspective is good.
DeSantis is the enemy now. He is a rising star in GOP politics and has the very real potential of overshadowing Trump as the new face of the party going forward. Trump’s ego won’t allow that, he has to be number one. It always is and always has been about him. It’s his spotlight and he doesn’t share it. A man who really wanted to do what was best for the COUNTRY would step aside, use his influence to continue to build the base and support the new wave of young conservative republicans that honestly, he laid the groundwork for. But that’s not Trump. We’re starting to see that he’s really no different than any other narcissistic politician, other than he holds at least some conservative, America first positions. He needs the adoration of the masses. It’s what he lives for, and he won’t give it up graciously, share it or go away quietly. The dems are going to egg him on in the hope, probably not unfounded, that he will do all their dirty work for them in terms of trying to destroy any real viable candidates for 2024.

One of his real enemies is the republican leadership. They were blaming Trump on every channel and especially FOX.Nobody is pointed out the Rubio got the same votes as Desantis. And he did almost nothing. Democrats did not do their normal spend in Florida. They moved around their efforts and let DeSantis get the easy win. Vance and Lake had to scrimp for every dollar they got. The republican leadership is saying this loss is a Trump loss, when they engineered it.
I take it you only want him to fight back on the issue you, personally, care about?
