> “DeSantis is Trump’s biggest rival for the 2024 Republican nomination.”

No, he’s not.

DeSantimonious is the divide-and-conquer wedge that Democrats and Never-Trumpers are using to take down Trump and leave MAGA without leadership.

DeSimpleton needs to see this and make a statement NOW, “President Trump, I got your back, I support you 1000%!”

DeSantis is racking up some good points but he’s playing in the local league in a state full of sunshine and retirees enjoying peace. He’s not tested yet in the DC snakepit. He’d be a prime candidate for VP on a 2024 Trump ticket. He’d have 4 years to survey the demons inside the Beltway.

People posting on FR that can’t see that are as dumb as a bag of hammers.

“”He’s not tested yet in the DC snakepit””

You don’t think his five years in the House of Representatives gave him a pretty good idea what kind of a swamp it is up there?

And you are a member of the Trump cult. Trump was needed in 2016. He broke the status quo and gave voice to millions of ‘despicables’. And for that we should be grateful. He also showed a generation of young republicans that you can be a fighter and bitch slap the dems and the media without fear. We should be thankful for that. But everyone has their time. The people who fought and won WWI were totally swept away by the changes in warfare at the start of WWII. They were fighting the last war against a different adversary and different tactics. It is the same in politics. It’s time for him to step aside and become a kingmaker. Use he influence to build the MAGA GOP. Work to develop a strong bench of quality candidates for 2024 and then help them get elected. Build a lasting legacy, rather than becoming a footnote in political history.

I can tell you there are a lot of people who were Trump people from 2016, 2020 and even this year that don’t want him as the candidate in 2024. They love what he did for the country but are tired of the circus.
