I’ve given up on Trump. Just TIRED of his “ME, ME, ME!” And if I’m tired of him, after being passionately for him in 2016/2020...then the majority of the country are way past being tired! He cannot win in 2024. But he can prevent someone else on our side from winning...because he only has one side: HIM.
He’s going from likeable to unlikeable. Does he not have an ounce of humility? Humility makes someone likable. Arrogance makes someone nauseating.

I love what Donald Trump’s policies did for our Nation, but let’s face it, he’s toxic. Hatred for Trump caused the disasters of the last 3-4 years. Their hatred of Trump has caused the left and other progressives to drop all pretense of patriotism and justified their unleashing hell on America. I am convinced that Covid was released during the 2020 election year in large part to destroy Trump’s chances for reelection. Don’t forget that Dr. Fauci predicted a pandemic during Trump’s presidency many months before we even heard of Covid.
Presidential elections are different than off year elections, for starters. But even if it was an apples to apples comparison, which it's not, Trump's support has definitely dropped since 2020, the evidence is right here on FR. Comments like this make it likely it will now drop even more.

I voted for Trump twice. He was a great president, but this is why I will not support him in a primary. If he wins the primary and that is probable, I will vote for him, but he is no longer my choice for president. I’ll probably be blasted for this, but he needs to step back and allow Ron DeSantis to seek the nomination. Trump is his own worst enemy. He is just so full of himself. He has offended so many people. Friends that voted for him twice are tired of his school-yard name calling. They aren’t voting for him in a primary either if he runs. He just can’t control his mouth.
Anything Trump says now, ANYTHING, and on Free Republic the democrat talking points are unleashed in a frenzy.
All you freaks that say Trump is insecure about any statement he makes, then that just means you are insecure, because if you were not, you would not feel the need to squeal like a banshee.

benefit of doubt. But in this instance all that could be said
is you are now embarrassing your loyal crew to the
point they are unable to find it within their hearts to
defend you. Please, if there is no goal in this behavior,
turn it down. Stop with the childish antics and egotistical
remarks. The man we first supported is not the same man
we see today. In our eyes, you, a king maker,
have done very well. It's sad to see that image tarnish in such a
short time. If you feel your job is done and you wish to
move on. So be it. However, if you plan in continuing
this fight, remember your supporters are taking unnecessary
punches as well.
