And they re still routinely putting down 320+mph passes. Nothing like watching Ashley Force putting down a 323 mph 4 second pass at Epping. Absolutely mind blowing.

From what I heard it was either that or slow down the cars, because at 1/4 mile they were getting too fast for the available shutdown at most tracks.
