Democrats need a fast plan for 2024 and nobody is in the wings
A white male replacing a black/Asian female? A lot of Democrats’ heads would explode if that happened. They would have to promise to select a new VP who was female and identified as belonging to some non-white ethnic category.
Possible but replacing a female halfrican with a straight white guy isn’t going to play well with a fair amount of Dems.
