I am afraid that may happen this winter. Power shortages (power = water & sewer and a whole lot more in the city), diesel shortages (heating oil = off road deisel), food shortages (remember the “processing plants” burning, dead cows, bird flu culls, etc.)...
I pray for those people.
I think there is a paradigm shift happening to produce and consume more locally. I think it’s going to be painful for a while. All initiations are painful.
