Catturd, as usual, is correct. If too many MAGA senators win this cycle, McConnell will be out of power. He has more power as the minority party leader of the party of collusion than he would as majority leader of the entire senate. If there were too many MAGA senators. MAGA Senators might also want to expose the evildoing by some Republican Senators during the Trump administration.

I did hear that - it made me wonder as well. It may be another case of President Trump not recognizing those who would do him harm at the drop of a hat, given the chance.

Supporting Kevin McCarthy is a mystery to me. At least Trump does not support McConnell. Though he has no influence, I hope he does not support McDaniel either. As head of the RNC, she has been a disaster.
