He actually did!
The (fast shrinking) Franco-American citizens (including me)
wanted him back badly.
Maine is a lost cause. the southern and coastal parts of full of wealthy brain dead liberals who moved here from away.
The rest of it especially the Lewiston-Aubuen areas are overwhelmed with Somalians.
The central and northern parts, are the hardworking farmers, loggers and so on.

I also wanted to say that the LOCAL fisherman (and women!)
are also pretty much conservative.
Ther is a city park in Lewiston called Kennedy Park. it’s been taken over by Somalian kids in gangs.
Those of us who lived and grew up there are advised not to bring their kids there anymore.
Know who advised them?
The POLICE DEPARTMENT.

I just spent all of Sunday, closing down the resort, under extreme duress, as I was by myself, with a winter storm bearing down on my location. I cannot begin to express the level of relief I felt, once I cleared Kaiser Pass, and again when I reached my living quarters, which meant a hot shower was imminent. It had been raining since mid afternoon, with intermittent snow flurries, and by midnight, I was soaked to the bone. The winter storm warning for the area is predicting up to 6’ of snow at the highest elevations.
