Yes! Mostly cleaning up, at our friend’s place….dishes, etc.
Then, chatting about Alvarez’ awesome play (homer) for waaaay tooooo loooong….lol. Finally got hubby to stop talking about it, and, headed home. 😂😂
It was a great game to see.
I didn’t realize how rude Phillies had been to Mattress Mack (a community legend, in Houston….he’s the one who refurnishes folks’ homes, for free, after hurricanes). They heckled him, in his own, paid seat, unmercifully, the other night, in Philly.
He threw out the first pitch, last night, to a raucous applause!

You were missed last night, Rusty.
Might be a good thing you missed the rally as the Trump Live Rally thread blew up and went off the rails.
Trump says what he wants to, brutally honest at times, but there is always a good reason.
Some have a very hard time with this and don’t bother to find out the reason before pouncing.
Much has been clarified on our thread since the rally.

Yes, I got tied up last night and missed the rally. I caught up on this thread. I think Paul Ryan is just trying to stir up trouble as Trump and DeSantis are both popular with America first crowd. Interesting that Ryan names DeSantis as his pick now, as he has not agreed with DeSantis on much. Ryan has been saying Republicans should give up on cultural wars, then wants the cultural warrior DeSantis to run? The governor of the State where the woke go to die?
