Sounds good to me, I’ve been wondering about how to implement an EC by counties as a solution to the problem of heavy fraud in the large counties.
If they hate the EC ..they would totally hate this.
They hate states rights..abortion.. for mostly the same reason.
It neutralizes their sham democracy.
Its interesting how the dims supposedly care about the little guy..mail in ballots ect..but then don’t want to give smaller states.. or in this case counties ..a equal vote.
We once had county unit voting but the Warren Court struck it down because āone man one voteā. Luckily the constitution protects the electorial college.
There was a consent decree in place for over 35 years that basically prevented Republicans from contesting election/voter fraud. It only ended in 2018! It was complete insanity. That the party leadership let that go on was criminal.
Armed with Democrat campaign literature, a group of activists will go to an elderly community and start knocking on doors. While handing out the literature, much of which will be about how Republicans want to cut Social Security for seniors and increase Medicare premiums, etc., they will ask granny or grandpa if they need any assistance obtaining and casting their ballots that year.
The gullible seniors, with arms trembling, will receive and hand back their ballots so that the nice people who want to protect their Social Security can deliver their ballots for them. In many cases, the elderly people will be confused and bewildered by the ballot and will ask for help in filling out the ballot for the "correct" candidates, which the volunteers are more than happy to do. In some cases, they will hand back a blank ballot and tell the volunteers to just go ahead and fill it out for them.
I don't think money changes hands in these situation as that could be too blatant and risky. However, the Democrat activists usually have these people so frightened and scared over the mean Republicans trying to take away their Social Security, that they are more than happy to hand their ballots over so that the volunteers can do the rest for them.
Rebublicans should be outraged over these practices but I'm just not seeing it. This is a part of why conservatives are getting absolutely clobbered in the inner cities.
Ignoring the inner cities is why red states flip to blue states. The suburbs and rural areas might be overwhelmingly conservatives but when the inner cities are churning out 90% o the votes in the Democrats favor, this is very hard to overcome statewide.
This is from the Democratic Socialists of Los Angeles website... specific instructions on how to ballot harvest ... excuse me, "ballot delivery" ... once you are at a voter's front door. Given that there is a large percentage of humans who are easily intimidated and will do what a firm "official" voice tells them to do, tell me how this is not electioneering:
Confirm strong candidate support. If voting for other candidate, thank them and move on.
āHave you received your ballot already? Great! Will you find it? Will you vote now?"
Ask at least 3 times. āX candidate is in line with all the values in our voter guide and we need your help to change this city.ā
āI want to make sure that your ballot doesnāt get lost in the mail or in the city bureaucracy. If we fill it out together right now, thereās an official place to sign it over to me and I can bring it to the city directly either today or first thing tomorrow morning.ā
Once you have successfully filled out the ballot using our voter guide, please ensure you place all of the ballot pages in the envelope provided.
Have the voter fill out the red box on the right side with their signature, date and the voterās address. YOU will fill out the top portion with your signature, name and under relationship to the voter write āVolunteerā

If you are canvassing with DSA-LA, take the sealed and filled out envelope and leave it with the lead(s) at the end of your canvassing shift. If you collected it on your own or with a different non-DSA-LA sponsored canvass, please drop off at your nearest post office (the same post office they just said may lose your ballot as it may "get lost in the bureaucracy") or nearest ballot box.

A televised public hanging of anyone involved in ballot harvesting on either side would help.
Vote fraud will continue until politicians and their supporters are afraid to cheat. Hangings may be a bit extreme, but fear is the required element.
