The man who allegedly hit Paul with the hammer must prosecuted for assault (if he stays alive while in jail), no doubt about that. However, this entire incident screams FRAUD and HOMOSEXUALITY. The Democrats have incited extreme violence since Trump started running for President, while he was President and the last time he ran for President. So many violent incidents/killings have occurred because of THEIR rhetoric and NOW they want sympathy over this immoral incident after showing no emphathy or concern for others who were severely threatened (Supreme Court Justices and others), injured (Rand Paul, Scalise) or killed (police officers in Dallas and those since) from their WORDS??? Really???
Oh, I would bet MY LIFE on the fact that DePape did NOT break into that home, but was ALLOWED in for a homosexual romp. If only we were allowed to get the facts in order to confirm that. Whoever is lying about that needs to be punished with death for treason for trying to manipulate the political environment.
