We won’t drop out of NATO now that the Russia Ukraine War is going on.
I would’ve “cut bait” on NATO in the 1990’s, we’re just subsidizing European deadbeats from paying for their own defense budgets.

We shouldn’t have to pay for it with our son’s lives and limbs or our treasure. Explain to me why Europe is so poor and has so few people and lacks the ability to defend itself from Russia. Europe is partially a welfare continent of America. We pay for their welfare because they don’t pay for their own defense. Trump was right about pulling out of NATO. He should never had been talked out of it.
