It's pretty obvious that they intended to create a public nuisance (that is inconvenience and annoy people). They'll claim they were trying to save the planet, but I don't think a jury will buy it.

Looking at these guys dressed like mountain climbers, I remember the old "Why climb Mount Everest? Because it's there," question. Why climb mountains? Because mountain climbing keeps guys like these out of greater mischief.
