the IRS doesn’t tax the first ~24K, and then taxes ??50%?? over that amount..

I wonder if there will be a change in the tax valuation, or if they will manage to scrape back the “gift” COLA soc sec people will get??

I'm never shocked by ANYTHING the gummint does with SS payments.

...with the possible exception of mild surprise that they even issue the checks in the first place.
