The CDC is also raising the dose for kids from 30 micrograms to 100 micrograms which is what it was for adults when it first came out and they lowered it due to very high death rates.

Doses of most of the kids. 100 micrograms for kids 12-17 which is the same as adults (Moderna.) They left Moderna blank for people older 18 meaning it might go up. 30 micrograms for 12 years and older (same as adults for Pfizer.

The meeting to approve the injections. Note at the end one brought up why they're adding this to "prevent" infection (given the CDC just said they never tested for prevention.) He said, we believe the benefits strongly out weigh the risks and we have to do better explaining that.
