PSA: Something that May Help With Long Posts

Early on, as a young MQD, I received menacing notes from people telling me that my posts are too long to read on a phone and issuing ultimatums. I did not understand this, and still forget, because I am a cell phone savage. That's right - I DON'T want to be buried with my phone when I die.

But I digress....

I have, on occaision, forgotten and posted in the dark of night, a monstrously long table of HTML coded research data from VAERS in the back 40 (acres) thinking that no one will see it, only to get a hostile post or email saying that FR should prevent such posts. I forget that others may just read 'activity' posts in the forum and that's why they see what should not be seen.

To try to spare my fellow FReepers and FReeQs pain and suffering, I looked up the HTML code that lets you skip a post (either from the top to the bottom, or if backing up through the thread, from bottom to top of the post). Then I usually misplace that code.

In those few moments when I know where the 'skip code' (my term for HTML code to skip long posts) is, I'll post it here for those who also post HTML code.

The HTML code to put at the top of a long post:

</table><P><a id="top"></a>
<p><a href="#bottom"><em><strong>Click to skip to bottom of this extremely long research post</strong></em></a></p>

Note the term id="top" in the first line of the code marks the location of the top of the post. The second line of code contains a href="#bottom" which identifies the destination if you click on the provided link. I change the text "Click to skip blah blah blah" to help the person decide whether the content is of interest to them. For example, "Click to skip the long post of VAERS data showing adverse reactions following the Bivalent Covid injection".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HTML code to put at the bottom of your long post:
</table><P><a id="bottom"></a>
<p><a href="#top"><em><strong>Click to skip to the top of this extremely long research post</strong></em></a></p>
Again, the code id="bottom" identifies the location of the bottom of the post.
The next line includes a href="#top" which identifies the destination if you click on the provided link.
Hope that helps. I apologize in advance for the next time I forget to provide skip links in one of my long posts!
ThankQ
When I see info like this, similar to recent claim later retracted that a lab created a more severe form of Covid, I suspect the deep state is trying to 'freshen up' their disease psyop. People not taking Covid plandemic seriously - lie to them and tell them you have PROOF this version is worse. No one panicking about monkey pox, claim you know the lab where the worse version is being created.
Is it that the original scam demics aren't working and they want to regain the fear the public lost?
The only problem for me is that by using the code for “skip this post” the whole post has to be formatted, which for this savage, can be time consuming. But, I’ll give it a whirl. If no images it will be easier.
Hmmm...normally my ‘skip to the top’ works but this time it’s really taking me to the top of the page....hmmmmm...
Welp, the skip (down) this post works. *sigh*
