I watched the football game....Once!....(they're all the same) What's to understand? It's boring and dangerous, especially concussions and knee injuries. Ever heard of "an old chess match injury"? I understood Physics, Biology and Math just fine. I also understand USAC. Now that's exciting.
Take shots at things you don't understand. You can't understand it if you never went through the practices when it was freezing cold or burning hot, earning your place on the field. Who do you think saved the world in WWII? Biologists and mathematicians? They invent the bombs and design the planes but somebody has to go bleed and die to save freedom. I never ran across an administrator, mathematician or biologist while I was toting a gun in the bush.
In WWII we had to go over and save the soccer players from Hitler. The death of masculinity is contained in your condemnation of football.

No, but I've had to work plenty outdoors in conditions like that.
You can demean me all you like, but you can't make me like football, play for 10 seconds and then frig around for 10 minutes....boring.
But I do prefer the rough and tumble excitement of USAC. Never a dull moment.
