The top of my list of security activities would be to stop the constant influx of foreign fighters flooding our southern and northern borders. Armies of enemies are welcomed in and bused around the country and stopping that is job #1. If the US is overthrown from within, the issue of Cuba is moot.
You boil the issues down to over simplified, “who is our friend?” The global conflict map is built on shifting sands reliant on context. In the context of the Ukraine, support for the Ukraine is support for Joe Biden and Deeps staters who overthrew that region to use as their corrupt satellite.
