Is the Deep State also in South Korea? What about Taiwan, is Taiwan also a Deep State outpost? Their adversaries are also nuclear-armed and threatening them. And the US is also treaty-bound to defend them as it is in Ukraine.

You do not understand the nature of the Deep State. They took control of Ukraine and the derps are using it as a foil against the last major power to stand against them. Its as simple as that.
