This is the latest version I've heard of this popular song. Patty Gurdy is amazingly talented...and amazingly gorgeous.
It’s funny how Kate Bush songs are getting a second wind!
As they should, been a fan of hers for a long time.
While I knew the Donovan song, I didn’t now what the heck a hurdy gurdy was until a few months ago, and a music thread either here or on Gab, can’t remember which.
Great cover of a great song, nice vid.
Patty gurdy playing the hurdy gurdy... now i understand the choice of musical instrument...
WOW. Thanks.
“ It’s funny how Kate Bush songs are getting a second wind!”
It’s a new decade. Bush is back.
It’s a very sad commentary on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that Bush isn’t in it. She’s a true musical genius, derivative of no-one but herself. Can’t say that about many bands or so-called artists.

I’m thinking it’s the other way around and Gurdy is her stage name.
I’ve also been a huge fan of hers since I discovered her cover of “Over The Hills and Far Away” a couple of years ago.
This also one of my faves
Love and Anger (featuring David Gilmour)

Gilmour was the one who discovered her.
Once the song was used on that TV show recently - Bush’s royalties have jumped to nearly $3 million
Sorry, I forgot you were referring to Kate Bush and I was referring to Patty Gurdy. I do enjoy some of Kate Bush’s other songs as well.
very talented, pretty lady.
I like Patty Gurdy. She did a great video on the parts and function of the hurdy gurdy. Also check out Rauta by Finnish band Korpiklaani for folk metal hurdy gurdy, if thats of interest. I sure enjoyed it.
