Why do we care what this child thinks?
Shouldn’t every other child in world receive equal media coverage for his or her opinions?

Why, Oh Why! Didn’t the Germans check with Greta before they shut those nuclear plants down?

I would agree with her. Nuclear is environmentally better than coal. If there is a choice.
Right now, Germany probably needs to use both.
And Europe’s largest nuclear power plant is now in the hands of Russia. Yet another reason, Russia needs to be driven out of Ukraine and the sooner the better.

She's right about not shutting down Nuclear plants, but it was the Environazis who pushed for shutting them down in the first place.

Germany is about to need a LOT of nuclear power plants. Unfortunately they take about 5 years to get up and running, but construction can’t start until they pass a decade or two of environmental impact investigations. 🤣

Neither coal or nuclear are ideal energy sources long term. Nothing in this world is perfect.
What grownups do is adapt, overcome and improvise. Unfortunately there are too many children who think they are adults getting in the way.

While I do not think this autistic high school dropout is saying something this rational on her own, her handlers may be having concerns about this winter and its effect on the green movement. A hard winter where Germans will be freezing in their darkened homes struggling to keep warm by any means possible may end their support of the green movement. Already the Italians have elected a government unfriendly to the greens and other European countries may do the same as a result of the hardships this winter caused by green policies.
