8 November is, of course, Election Day. Just realized today that is is also the date of a lunar eclipse.

If it's even close to being clear out, I'll be outside with the big lens and tripod, photographing the eclipse. I might even use my cheap tracking mount for the lens so that I can take longer exposures without showing motion blur.

I think that Nov. 8 eclipse is in Scorpio. Dark to Light. Astrologers been having a field day with that one.
