Well you could always go to the bank and remove your co-signature, using the rationale that you only co-sign for extremely close and trusting relationships, and you just don’t have that any more with them. The explanation would be that it’s not a punishment, it’s just an acknowledgement of the current state of your barely existent relationship. But yikes! The fallout from that would certainly be transformative - one way or the other. It tears me up to see so many very good people being hurt by their children who have mistaken information (from the TV) for knowledge.

I’d never do that to him. He’s just still 20 something and we have to deal with that. I’ll see them all on Saturday night for the party. Kaiden should be a real hit with the ladies.
