No need to apologize Snowy. It’s heartbreaking to see how governments have purposefully destroyed so much family solidarity in two short years. I hope it can all be repaired in time. The problem is so widespread though that it may take a worldwide crisis to bring families back together at the same speed they were torn apart. A nuclear scare or alien invasion come to mind. I’m not hoping for either of those, just something that jolts everyone awake and back to appreciating the only thing that really matters - our relationships. So much sadness.
I keep telling myself that he’s 25. He just doesn’t get it yet. But I will tell him my concerns and hope that he mans up and asserts himself a bit more. Let’s just say my in-laws see my grandson more than I do. I have to address it and not make the situation worse. I’m not sure how to do that but I know my way will be far better than my Italian wife’s way who happens to have PTSD.
