Family slide...My grandpa bought his first gun from MWards when he was 15. My dad has it framed, but he said it works. It’s very small. He paid $3.00 or so.
My grandpa was taken, kind of kidnapped lol, by a tribe of Indians (I know, Indigenous) in Wisconsin when he was 10 yrs old. His mother died in childbirth, his dad put him and his brothers in orphanages, then my grandpa was adopted when he was 7 by some lady who basically abandoned him to work her store. Then one Sat the elders of the tribe came in and just took him. They were very good to him, he was one of them.
When he was 15, he decided to hop the rails in Northern US to find his sisters. Their husbands worked the rails. Took him a few years.
He was an interesting man! Great attitude about life, forgave his dad, found his brothers. It took him 50 yrs to find his last brother. Make you wonder if he used the gun lol.

I wasn’t sure what that idiom meant until this summer. I leave the patio door open 6” so my yorkies can either sun themselves or relieve themselves outside while I’m playing golf. I went into the spare bedroom one day in June and found about 50 fly corpses lying on the carpet in front of the window that faces west. My guess is they flew into the house and went upstairs, looking for food I imagine. They must have flown around until they died from starvation or exhaustion. I appreciate that I didn’t have to chase them around the house, but it was very weird seeing all those fly bodies on the floor of that one room. This phenomenon repeated itself every week until mid September.
Eighty Canadian doctors dropping like my 700 flies, and nobody is talking about the elephant in the room.

My daughter-in-law is not that bad but insists nobody should kiss my grandson because he could become infected with something. It’s effing ridiculous and I am going to bring it up during the holidays. They are pissing me off lately. I didn’t want anything on my birthday this past Sunday. All I wanted was to see my son and my grandson. Because we’re very busy getting ready for a massive Halloween party this weekend we could go up there or meet somewhere, they would have to come to our house. Yeah, that didn’t happen. And I co-signed for the effer’s house.
Sorry for venting. He’s 25 and very responsible. So there is no excuse. Thanks for the birthday present.
